Student Teaching Awards

Congratulations to Leanne Blount (PhD) and Nikita Lack (UG) who have both been awarded teaching partnership awards by the University of Leicester. Leanne has been working on supporting student learning in the teaching labs. Nikita is one of the digital partners producing flipped model making activities to support shape and structure lectures.
Eurovariety Conference
May 2019
I have been awarded a staff learning and teaching conference travel fund to attend the the 8th Eurovariety meeting by the Leicester Learning Institute. I shall be presenting three talks at Prato:
- Preparing lab students using laboratory simulation software
- Infographic creation: assessment and connection departmental research
- Flipped problem classes to assist case study teaching of synthesis
